Car Scratches

After buying a used car several years ago, I found there to be a lot of small scratches around the handle of the vehicle. It was something that drove me crazy! I debated taking it to get it professionally done until I tried this little experiment and it worked.

 Finger Nail Buffing Block

I worked backwards on the on the buffing block to make sure I didn't add more scratches. I found that the last 2 steps (of 3) of the block were the ones that I needed to smooth everything out. Mine has three different grits on it. The roughest one was too much for the car finish. The next problem is that the the buffing block would not fit under my handles. Luckily the pieces easily pull off to hold by hand.Buffing blocks are all different colors so, use the steps based on the one you have.

I used Step 2 and Step 3 sides to make my car look great.
